It is with great pleasure and pride that Tom and I introduce our new daughter...
Emilia RuDan DePeter!!!
We received our news yesterday, January 3rd, and saw "Emme's" face for the very first time. She was born on July 12, 2005 in the town of YiYang and in the province of Hunan, China. Her Chinese name is: Yi (last name); Ru (first name); Dan (middle name). In August, she weighed 18.48 lbs and was able to walk while holding on to someone's hand.
She currently is in the Yi Yang Children's Welfare Institute in YiYang where she has spent the first months of her life. We are pleased to share that she is healthy and happy and waiting for our February meeting. We have been told that she is energetic, loves to listen to music, gets along well with her playmates, and that she has a ready smile.
As you can imagine we cannot wait to see her and touch her in person!
